This course is designed for those who have practiced Yoga Iyengar* style for at least two years.

Technical

Intensive development of personal practice
Teaching
Observation and correction of the student.
Practice class. How to structure the classes.

Yoga Adapted

How to adapt the practice to different physical problems (knee, lumbar, cervical)

Anatomy

Fundamentals (locomotor, respiratory , endocrine, and circulatory systems).

Commentary on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

Who is this Course For?

This course is designed for people with at least two years experience in the practice of Yoga who want to learn how to teach Iyengar Yoga.

The course provides the knowledge and skills needed to teach Iyengar Yoga. It will greatly advance your personal practice.

These courses are also aimed at those who are simply interested in improving their practice and deepening their knowledge of Yoga practice and tradition.

Objective of the Course

Its main objective is to emphasize the pedagogical techniques that are applied in the teaching of yoga, through the prism of an innovative methodology that enriches and empowers you to teach with confidence your future students.

Certification

Certification is obtained after passing the theoretical and practical assessments, resulting in a Practice of Hatha Yoga Instructor diploma accredited by AIPYS

Students may choose to resit the exams at one of the AIPYS centres if necessary, to complete their diploma requirements.

In the case of not passing the exams, a Certificate of Attendance will be awarded.
