Ananda's Vinyasa Flow

Ananda takes a vigorous, devotional, and creative approach to asana, whereby postures flow from one to the other in continuous, dynamic movement linked by the breath.  Her sequencing is unique, inspired, infinite.

 

The breath

The rhythm of the breath as the main focal point of awareness transforms the physical exercise to a moving meditation, a chance for the soul to sing and dance.  She invites you to come and play! Ananda humbly bows down to her teachers Jacqueline Heisel, Jasmine Tarkeshi, and Dana Flynn.

 

Ananda studied in the Americas

Ananda has two Vinyasa Flow teaching certifications, having completed 200 hours with Frog Lotus Yoga in Costa Rica in 2008, and another 200 hours at Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in San Francisco in 2009. She has taught in New York City, San Francisco, and Manila, Philippines.
