We are unique in offering you the advantage of knowing how Hatha Yoga is understood in the Hindu context and at the same time analysing its paradigm in post-modern terms. Yogic techniques are being increasingly used in psychological therapies. Neuroscience research suggests that body-based practices increase neuroplasticity and improve emotional regulation. Yogic techniques offer both improved mindfulness and affective regulation making it a perfect complement to psychological work. As a holistic practice yoga attends to mind, body, behaviour and social interaction, thereby offering a biopsychosocial approach that nicely aligns with a growing appreciation that well being requires attention to all aspects of the person.
"Respectful of the tradition and demanding with their method; however, in addition to philosophy, history, anatomy and a lot of technique, they teach you to teach"

The intention is to awaken the traditional spirituality as a form of personal psychological growth. Consciousness begins here and ... who knows where it will end?

Westley Adam Eckhardt
Westley Eckhardt maintains a multi-vocal interpretation of the spiritual traditions while honouring their uniqueness. His views can be provocative but they are always enlightening. Wes emphasizes the importance of understanding the Yoga tradition and respecting the plurality of its world views. The approach is therefore not dogmatic but pluralistic.
Gauri has created a unique pedagogical system for the training of Yoga Teachers. With her pedagogy approach, she has transformed the method and practice of teaching: design of programs; organisation of classes, communication skills, class environments; how to teach; specific vocabulary and psychological evaluation.

Teacher of Hatha yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Vinyasa Flow in the Teacher Training Courses of AIPYS. I can say that I have been improving and acquiring new experiences and knowledge, which enrich me in this way and I discovered what I enjoyed sharing, learning, with the students, those moments of practice, in classes with them. "It is a pleasure for me to have that opportunity to share yoga" Namaste".
I am very proud to be part of the AIPYS training team
At first, my motivation was to know, from within, this beautiful way of life; over time, I have been increasingly interested in the possibility of transmitting the knowledge acquired in the School, continuing my learning through the development of each of the people who come to Yoga Center to practice and enjoy yoga, this path of self-knowledge.
"It is a pleasure to be able to share this enriching path with all those attending the AIPYS training courses."
